Cost
- As of January 2023, fees are $200 per consultation hour. A consultation hour is 50 minutes.
Private Health
Part of the fee may be redeemable from private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. Contact your fund for more information on your cover for psychological services.
Medicare
You do not need a referral to make an appointment, however, to receive a Medicare rebate you will need to be referred by your GP or your psychiatrist with a Mental Health Care Plan. You will be able to redeem $137.05 back from Medicare for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. If you are referred with and Eating Disorder Care Plan, you will be able to redeem the rebate for up to 40 sessions a year. Contact Medicare for more information.
